Since 2024, Visviva Media has been working closely with Sunway Healthcare Group’s Clinical Research Centre to bring clarity, warmth, and trust to the way research is communicated.

Driven by Discovery- The Heart Behind Clinical Trials explores the human side of clinical research through the voices of Dato Dr. Chang Kian Meng and Dr. David Lee. Moving beyond infrastructure and scientific advancement, the film reflects on the investigators behind clinical trials — their persistence, mentorship, and responsibility in carrying medical progress forward. Through stories of experience, uncertainty, and renewed purpose, the video highlights how each generation of investigators helps strengthen Malaysia’s clinical research landscape and move medicine closer to better outcomes for patients.
Sister Khaw’s story is one of courage and generosity. As a Phase-3 clinical trial participant at Sunway Clinical Research Centre, she spoke with honesty and warmth about her journey — the uncertainties, the trust, and the hope she carried while battling Stage-4 cancer.
