Who We Are
Visviva Media is a boutique communications agency built at the intersection of strategy and cinematic craft.
Born from the hands of a filmmaker, we understand what’s often missing in corporate marketing:
the ability to structure a message like a story — and deliver it to be not only understood, but deeply felt.
We work with organisations who want to communicate with precision, clarity, and emotional resonance — across industries like agriculture, healthcare, education, construction, and finance.
We don’t create for noise.
We engineer narrative systems that carry weight, rhythm, and trust — from brand films to internal campaigns, safety messages to strategy decks.
We are not a volume-driven production house.
We are intentional, strategic, and hands-on — guided by one principle:
Will this help your audience understand you — and remember you?
Our founder, Lionel Tay, brings over 20 years of experience in corporate communication, marketing strategy, and visual storytelling. Supported by a dedicated network of editors, cinematographers, writers, and designers, Visviva builds clarity through form — and connection through feeling.
Because the most powerful stories aren’t just seen or heard.
They are understood. And felt.
Lionel Tay
Founder & Creative Director
Lionel began his creative life in sound—but it was through the lens that he learned how to truly listen.
Over two decades, Lionel has developed a distinctive way of seeing — shaped by editing suites, production floors, and countless conversations with people, brands, and ideas. From post-production at Astro, to music content development with Viva Music Singapore, to broadcast storytelling with Al Jazeera and global networks, he cultivated a deep understanding of how emotion, narrative, and precision converge to move an audience.
In 2012, he founded Visviva Media—not just as a production outfit, but as a studio where strategic clarity meets cinematic craft. What began as a personal pursuit has grown into a communications agency trusted by brands like Lafarge, YTL Cement, Manulife, and Sunway.
Today, Lionel leads Visviva with a narrative-first approach rooted in structure, rhythm, and restraint. His strength lies in helping organisations tell stories that don't just inform, but resonate — cutting through noise with intention and depth.
Because the best stories don’t need to shout.
They just need to be understood. And felt.
