A 12-Year Partnership Rooted in Clarity, Creativity, and Agricultural Purpose

Visviva’s collaboration with Applied Agricultural Resources (AAR), a subsidiary of KLK Kepong and Boustead Plantation began in 2012, with the full-scale marketing campaign for their flagship designer seed, AA Hybrida IS. Tasked with bringing a scientific breakthrough to life, we developed an integrated suite of communication tools: an insight-driven video, a 30-second branding spot, brochures, flyers, billboard designs, and multilingual print ads. This campaign became the foundation of a long-term creative partnership.

Over the years, our work with AAR evolved alongside the challenges and spirit of the industry. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we produced “Here For You”, a heartfelt music video honouring the resilience and dedication of oil palm planters across Malaysia. It was a rare blend of corporate messaging and emotional tribute—one that resonated far beyond internal walls.

Most recently, we supported the marketing campaign for AA Vitroa I, AAR’s next-generation tissue culture planting material. From concept to content, we helped communicate the science, scalability, and sustainability behind the innovation.

Beyond major campaigns, Visviva has continued to support AAR with a wide range of marketing materials—brochures, flyers, billboards, nursery guide posters, and educational booklets—all crafted to reflect both technical precision and brand clarity.

“Here For You” is a music video born from solidarity—created in collaboration with Malaysia’s major oil palm planters during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. It stands as a heartfelt tribute to the resilience, sacrifice, and unwavering spirit of plantation workers who kept the industry alive through uncertainty. A rare blend of gratitude and creative expression, the piece reminds us that even in isolation, purpose can still connect.

The AA Hybrida IS Insight Video, produced in 2012, marked the launch of AAR’s flagship designer seed. Created to bridge science and market understanding, the film introduced the hybrid’s breakthrough traits through storytelling that honoured both agronomic depth and field relevance. It became the cornerstone of AAR’s first fully integrated marketing campaign—setting the tone for a new era of clarity in agricultural communication.

“Small Is the New Big” is the branding video that introduced AA Hybrida IS to the industry—not through numbers, but through a bold idea. This 30-second piece distilled the hybrid’s core advantage into a simple, memorable truth: smaller seeds, bigger potential. With minimal words and purposeful visuals, it positioned AA Hybrida IS not just as a product, but as a shift in thinking.
